It needs more experience and skills to advance from Medical Laboratory Technician to other job positions. The student's career advancement begins from being working as a laboratory technician after completing the Medical Laboratory Technician course, progressing to Haematology Technician and Clinical Biochemistry Technician. In addition, a Clinical Biochemistry Technician is advancing to become a Technician of Microbiology, Chief Laboratory Technician, and then Assistant Clinical Laboratory Manager. He finally assumes the position of a Clinical Laboratory Manager from there, which is the most superior position in this area.
