What you will learn
The qualification of the Operation Theatre Technician would have comprehensive knowledge of working in the operation theatre along with various topics such as infection prevention, management of bio medical waste, etc. Before, during and after surgery, students would be able to plan the operating theatre, assisting surgeons and nurses in different procedures. Instructional approaches, including classrooms and laboratories, are varied. The care of facilities, sterilisation and personal hygiene would also be the responsibility of individuals.
Growth Prospect
The career prospects looks very challenging for certified Operation Theatre Technicians. You begin your career as a Junior Operation Theatre Technician after the completion of the course, after which you go on to become an Operation Theatre Technician and eventually a Senior Operation Theatre Technician.
